Last Wednesday I had a panic - my cat sitter canceled on me. Only a week and a half to find a new home for my beasties! I tested out my new digital camera (a Canon Powershot SD1000) on the cats and desperately posted an ad on craigslist and put up fliers around town. I think Rascal and Tuft's cute faces did the trick - I got several responses. 
So I interviewed a few of them, and chose two nice young women, Autumn and Meghan. They've both had cats before and are really excited about keeping Rascal and Tuft, so I hope the kitties will be happy there. I just dropped them off and it broke my heart to leave them. My house seems so empty without them. Tuft was already exploring his new home and seemed to be adjusting OK, but poor Rascal is terrified and hiding behind their toilet. I hope he adjusts OK.Well, better get back to packing. Next week my adventure starts!
